Job summary

BCG Cares in Perth, Scotland, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in serving delicious, well-balanced meals to residents in a caring environment.

No formal qualifications are required; training will be provided. You will help maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen in line with EHO regulations and will have opportunities to build relationships with residents and develop your skills with flexible scheduling and supportive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial or care setting is beneficial.
• PVG check and right to work in the UK are required.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Kitchen team to serve delicious, well-balanced, and nutritious meals that our residents will love. This role offers plenty of opportunities to build relationships with our residents and develop your skills.

About You:

As a Kitchen Assistant at BCG, you will be dedicated to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and will be eager to assist during the food preparation process. You should approach your work with reliability, consideration, and care. Formal qualifications are not required as training will be provided, although any experience in a commercial or care setting would be beneficial.

Successful candidates are subject to satisfactory references and a PVG check and must be authorised to work in the UK.
