Job summary

Gather & Gather in Oxford is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help keep the kitchen running smoothly, assist with preparing fresh food, and support the team through every service.

This role is 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, term time only, contracted to 45.6 weeks per year. The company offers a range of benefits and development opportunities within one of the UK's leading hospitality groups.

Location: Oxford

Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour

Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 days, 37.5 hours per week (Term time only - This role is contracted to 45.6 weeks per year)

About The Role

You'll keep our kitchen running smoothly, helping to prepare fresh food, keeping everything clean and organised, and supporting the team through every service.

What You'll Do

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Keeping the kitchen and surrounding areas spotlessly clean
• Using all machinery and equipment correctly
• Helping to load and unload deliveries
• Representing CH&CO and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards
