What does the role involve?

1. Assist, as directed, with the preparation of produce for meal time service. This may include cooking breakfast items, vegetable preparation, and making sandwiches.
2. Ensure all kitchen equipment and areas are cleaned according to the cleaning schedules. Organisation skills are essential.
3. Adhere to statutory and Company Health and Safety Regulations.
4. Store all dry and perishable cook chill goods correctly and promptly after receipt and checking.
5. Store cleaning materials safely and correctly.
6. Thoroughly clean all crockery, cutlery, and drinking vessels for residents using the main kitchen dishwasher.
7. Clean and store pots, pans, utensils, and service containers to the required standards after use.
