Job summary

Young's Pubs is hiring a Kitchen Porter for The Crown in Minchinhampton, within a community-focused venue offering premium British produce and a welcoming, professional atmosphere.

You'll join a motivated kitchen team, with weekly pay, 28 days' holiday, free meals, and staff discounts across Young's Pubs and rooms, plus access to apprenticeships and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Kitchen Porter or eager to start in hospitality.
• Hard-working with a strong team ethic and good communication.
• Willingness to learn new skills and support the kitchen team.
• Must be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Be an active hands-on member of the kitchen team.
• Maintain high standards and a strong work ethic.
• Learn new skills and contribute to delivering top quality service.
• Work alongside the kitchen team to support daily tasks and service.
• Demonstrate planning and organisational abilities for day-to-day tasks.

Kitchen Porter

Our team is at the heart of everything that we do, as such, we offer development and progression to all team members old and new including, internal and external courses, e-learning and the opportunity to study NVQs.

All team members receive an equal amount of service charge based on hours worked and are paid weekly (unless salaried).

We are looking for an existing Kitchen Portert or an individual looking for their next step to their hospitality career, who considers themselves to have a passion to work within a reliable team that delivers high quality standards. We need hard-working and dedicated people behind the scenes to help our restaurants run smoothly and to ensure that they are always clean and tidy. As the successful Kitchen Porter you will:

• Be an active hands-on person with a passion to work hard as part of a team
• Have high standards and a great work ethic
• You will show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills
• Be working alongside your kitchen team and will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to deliver top quality service
• Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills to complete day to day tasks
