Job summary

The Devonshire in Balham, part of Young’s Pubs, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join a busy, friendly team. You will help with prep, maintain cleanliness, and support culinary staff across shifts in a popular pub and dining space.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep and kitchen duties to support the team.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Contribute to delivering top quality service and customer satisfaction.

We are looking for an existing Kitchen Assistant or an individual looking for their next step to their hospitality career, who considers themselves to have a passion to work within a reliable team that delivers high quality standards. We need hard-working and dedicated people behind the scenes to help our restaurants run smoothly and to ensure that they are always clean and tidy. As the successful Kitchen Porter you will:

• You will show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills
• Be working alongside your kitchen team and will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to deliver top quality service
