Job description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join a friendly team.

Duties as Kitchen Assistant:

  • Assist with the preparation of meals and snacks in line with hygiene and safety standards.

  • Help maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, including washing up and cleaning surfaces and equipment.

  • Receive and store deliveries correctly, ensuring food is rotated and stored safely.

  • Support the chef or catering team as required.

  • Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.

  • Assist with serving food if needed.

Ideal Kitchen Assistant:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment (desirable but not essential).

  • Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety.

  • Ability to work well as part of a team.

  • Good time management and organisational skills as a Kitchen Assistant.

  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
