The Home

Rosevale Lodge Care Home is a purpose-built nursing and residential home situated next to the River Lagan and close to Lisburn Town Centre, with access to local shops, bus, and train services. It caters for up to 68 residents living with Dementia, with two units separated into Dementia Nursing and Dementia Residential. Rosevale Lodge Care Home has a longstanding reputation for delivering high-quality care in the local community, maintaining residents' dignity and individuality, and welcoming visitors warmly.

The Role

The Kitchen Assistants play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our kitchens, providing residents with high-quality meals and dining experiences. The role supports residents' wellbeing through person-centred dining experiences, working as part of the kitchen team under the supervision of the Chef. Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, delivering meals and supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting a safe environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure all catering stock and equipment are correctly stored and accounted for according to company standards.
  2. Deliver meals and catering supplies promptly within the unit.
  3. Assist with basic food preparation under direction.
  4. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, catering, and servery areas in line with standards.
  5. Keep the environment tidy and compliant with statutory regulations.
  6. Perform any other duties as reasonably required by the Chef or Cook.

This is a part-time role, 18 hours a week.
