Job summary

Accor's hotel team seeks a Kitchen Assistant to support food preparation and daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. You will help maintain cleanliness, assist with stock rotation, and ensure health and safety standards are followed.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking duties as directed by the Head Chef.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, storage areas and floors.
• Carrying out washing up duties, ensuring all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, pots, pans and equipment are cleaned and stored correctly.
• Supporting the team with stock rotation, deliveries, and the safe storage of food items.
• Ensuring all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures are followed at all times.
• Taking responsibility for your own personal hygiene and presentation standards.
• Assisting the Head Chef in maintaining the kitchen's compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
• Working effectively as part of the kitchen team to deliver excellent service to guests.
• In addition to your kitchen duties, you will receive training to become a multi-skilled team member, enabling you to assist in other departments across the hotel when required.

Job Description

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the preparation of food, assist with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, and ensure all kitchen duties are carried out efficiently and responsibly.
