Job description

KITCHEN ASSISTANT

Fallow was founded by three individuals in May 2019: two chefs, Jack Croft and William Murray, and hospitality entrepreneur James Robson. This combination forms the core of Fallow's DNA, blending culinary creativity with hospitality experience and passion. Fallow’s permanent location in St James’s Market was established in November 2021 and has received multiple awards, including Marie Claire and GQ’s ‘Sustainable Restaurant of the Year’ and the Caterer award for ‘Best New Restaurant’.

As a Kitchen Porter at Fallow, you will support the kitchen team by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced chefs and gain valuable culinary experience.

Key responsibilities:

1. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
2. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required by the chefs.
3. Ensure work surfaces, storage areas, and floors are hygienic and clean.
4. Handle deliveries, unpack supplies, and store ingredients properly.
5. Support stock rotation and waste management to uphold food safety standards.
6. Comply with all health and safety regulations.
