Job summary

Duchess-of-Kent is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our fast-paced Islington pub. You’ll join a hands-on team, help keep the kitchen clean and efficient, assist with prep, and support service during busy periods to ensure guests enjoy a high standard of food and service.

The role rewards reliability, strong work ethic and clear communication. Enthusiasm and teamwork matter most, with training and progression through our Apprenticeship Scheme and Chef Academy available.

We need hard-working and dedicated people behind the scenes to help our restaurants run smoothly and to ensure that they are always clean and tidy. As the successful Kitchen Porter you will:

• Be an active hands-on person with a passion to work hard as part of a team
• Have high standards, a great work ethic and ability to work at speed to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and swiftly.
• You will show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills
• Be working alongside your kitchen team and will be able to demonstrate your creativity and ability by helping to deliver top quality service
• Demonstrate great planning and organisational skills to complete day to day tasks
