Enderby House in Greenwich is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality pub dishes with care and consistency. You will join a historic venue and help behind the scenes to keep the kitchen clean and organized, assist with prep and service, and learn in a supportive environment with apprenticeship opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or kitchen environment desirable.
• Able to work as part of a team and support busy service periods.
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety standards (HACCP).

Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen team with food preparation and cooking tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas.
• Support chefs during service and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and food handling standards at all times.
• Assist with stock handling and dishwashing as needed.

And if you're looking to host a private event, our upstairs dining room can accommodate up to 50 guests for a seated dinner or 70 for a standing reception.
