About The Role

In your role as a Kitchen Assistant at HC-One, you’ll value one thing above all: kindness. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. About You

You will help prepare and serve nutritious meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene. Your responsibilities include managing food supplies, training new staff, and cleaning. Resident well-being is your top priority.

We seek a Kitchen Assistant with some kitchen experience, ideally with an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation, or willingness to obtain one. Good organizational skills, recipe following, and considerate communication are essential.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse or neglect, attend relevant training, and know how to report concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
