Job summary

Inspired Global Cuisine is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join the Product Development team in Chadderton, supporting Development Chefs to turn ideas into viable products.

You will keep the development kitchen clean, stocked and well organized, enabling chefs to focus on creating. Build strong working relationships across the business and contribute to the development schedule.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Team player who can work autonomously.
• Professional and confidential in handling information.
• Keen eye for detail and methodical approach.
• Genuine interest in food and product development.
• Catering qualification or NVQ preferred.
• Food manufacturing knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and support Development Chefs day-to-day.
• Maintain a clean, organised development kitchen.
• Ensure chefs have resources and materials available.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams for storage access.
• Present products professionally at internal taste panels.
• Keep up to date with food trends, concepts and packaging.
• Handle confidential information with care and discretion.
• Follow all health and safety policies on site.
• Support wider NPD team with other duties as required.

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm

Inspired Global Cuisine is a frozen ready meal manufacturer based in Chadderton, Oldham, Manchester. The Role

We're looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our Product Development team, supporting our Development Chefs in turning great ideas into commercially viable products.

You’ll keep our development kitchen clean, organised and well stocked, so the chefs can focus on creating. You’ll also build strong working relationships across the business and play an active part in our development schedule.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing ingredients and supporting the Development Chefs day to day
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in the development kitchen
• Making sure the chefs have all the resources they need to do their jobs
• Working with the production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are stored correctly and are easy for the chefs to access
• Presenting products professionally at regular internal taste panels
• Keeping up to date with food trends, new concepts and packaging
• Handling confidential company information with care and discretion
• Following all health and safety policies and procedures on site
• Supporting the wider NPD team with other reasonable duties as required
