As our next Kitchen Assistant, you will:

  • Show passion and creativity for food, ingredients, and flavors.
  • Assist the kitchen brigade in keeping all kitchen areas clean and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure all F&B outlets are supplied with clean and sanitized operating equipment.
  • Use food-handling techniques aligned with current Health and Hygiene regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards.
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of kitchens according to current Health & Hygiene regulations.
  • Count, sort, and prepare operating equipment as required.
  • Handle chemicals and equipment correctly, following manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Ensure all operating equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware are hygienically cleaned and safely stored.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and methods for deep cleaning floors, walls, coolers, ovens, and equipment.
  • Contribute to cost control through energy conservation and careful use of water, cleaning materials, and appliances.
  • Collect and dispose of garbage correctly from all kitchen areas each shift.
  • Use safe and hygienic methods for removing dry and wet waste.
  • Perform any other reasonable requests from your Supervisor or Hotel Management.
