Job summary

Marston's is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support a busy kitchen and learn on the job. You’ll help maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and efficiency, while developing skills for a future Commis Chef role.

Qualifications

• No previous formal kitchen experience required; eagerness to learn in a fast-paced setting.
• Support the kitchen team and help maintain high food and safety standards.
• Be flexible with part-time hours and shift patterns.

• Assist and support the kitchen team to prepare and serve meals.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas.
• Take pride in your prep work and teamwork to ensure smooth service.

As a Kitchen Assistant you'll: Be eager to learn and get stuck in, in an environment that's fast paced with the opportunity to pick up plenty of new skills that can be used in our kitchen and at home.

• Have the opportunity to progress and learn the ropes of the Commis Chef role.
• Help to maintain high food and safety standards across the kitchen.
• Help to maintain that all kitchen areas remain clean and clutter free
• Take pride in the food you prep and serve.
• Be committed to being a team player.
