Job summary

Marston's PLC in Swarkestone is seeking a Commis Chef to join our team. The role covers 25 hours per week with a pay rate of up to £12.71 per hour. You will prep, create and bring our pub menu to life, fitting into a fast-paced kitchen alongside a passionate team.

You'll learn and develop within a supportive environment, with opportunities to advance through our internal pathways and gain new culinary skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role or an experienced KP.
• Know or be willing to learn about kitchen areas and procedures.
• Work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Help to support the kitchen team with the day to day running of the kitchen.
• Have a passion to deliver great, hot food to spec each and every time.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life.
• Own a section of the kitchen and assist with daily tasks.
• Learn new prepping skills and contribute to kitchen workflow.
• Support the kitchen team to ensure timely, high‑quality dishes.

We're on the lookout for a Commis Chef to join our team! Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life. Got a passion for food? You'll fit right in. From learning new prepping skills, bringing a meal to life for the first time, to owning a section of the kitchen.

As Commis Chef: There's plenty to get involved with whilst growing your career and developing skills that you can take home.
