We’re currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to join our passionate, hard-working, and friendly catering team. You will create delicious meals, snacks, and drinks for our residents, getting to know their preferences to make mealtimes special.
Joining us means becoming part of our extended family. You’ll work alongside other team members dedicated to providing care, warmth, and kindness to everyone in our homes.
This home is located in an attractive residential cul-de-sac in the picturesque rural village of Adderbury, near Banbury. Lake House offers a welcoming, warm atmosphere and is divided into four households providing residential, respite, and early-stage dementia care.

No formal catering experience is required as training will be provided. However, holding a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial. We’re looking for someone who enjoys cooking, maintains high kitchen hygiene standards, and has a positive, can-do attitude.
You should have good communication skills, be passionate about providing excellent service to our residents, and feel confident engaging with elderly residents to understand their needs. Being a team player in the home is essential.
