Overview

Kitchen and Restaurant Health and Safety Supervisor – Croydon College Group, Croydon, London. Salary £30,274 per annum (FTE), prorated to 40 weeks for a term-time contract. Post is 35 hours per week over 40 weeks. Closes 26 October 2025. Reference 002621. Sector: Further Education. Contract: Permanent. Hours: Term Time. Location: Croydon, Greater London. Organisational Type: General Further Education College. Reports to: CTM – Hair & Beauty, Hospitality and Public Services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide effective and efficient support for Hospitality programmes within the College.
  • Manage the restaurant and bar, food stores and stock control within the department.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and build positive relationships.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative approach and uphold the College’s values and standards in daily operations.
  • Ensure health and safety practices in accordance with relevant regulations and College policies.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Level 2 qualification in hospitality or a relevant area.
  • Up-to-date Food Safety and Hygiene certificate at Level 2.
  • Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, with some supervision and stick control experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and stakeholders.
