Job description

Norwich City Football Club is looking to recruit a Kiosk Supervisor to work in our stadium kiosks on first team matchdays.

As the role involves the sale of alcohol candidates must be aged 18 and over.

Natural leadership skills are essential; experience is preferred but full training will be provided.

Our matchdays are usually on Saturdays, with some weekday evening and Sunday matches.

A typical shift is approximately 5 hours depending on the game and kiosk size. This is a casual, hourly paid position.

In our kiosks you will be responsible for:

  • Deliver an excellent level of food, drink and bar service in a fast-paced environment. Ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded at every opportunity.
  • Supervising and leading a team of between 4 and 18 catering assistants. Including professionally addressing basic performance and development needs.
  • Manage the speed of service to achieve key time frame targets: kick off time and half time. Ordering hot food within set time frames, ensuring the kiosk if fully stocked for half time.
  • Compliance with Food Hygiene regulations, Health and Safety regulations, Manual Handling guidelines and Licensing laws.
  • Preparing the kiosk and team for the busy half time service.
  • Ensuring the kiosk is cleaned to the highest standard and stock is correctly rotated.

You will have:

  • Experience in a supervisory role or natural leadership skills.
  • The ability to be a role model for casual staff; pride in your appearance leading by example in delivering our Carrow Road brand standard, whilst demonstrating the Clubs values and behaviours.
  • A positive can-do attitude with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
  • A resilient, calm and confident approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to use the Epos system and authorise staff hours using a dedicated App.
  • A practical, organised approach to achieving tasks within a tight timeframe.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
