A leading company in social work is seeking a Senior ER Manager to oversee employee relations and ensure the delivery of a customer-focused ER service. This role involves managing casework and supporting the ER team while working closely with the management team to prioritize work and balance risks.
To manage the delivery of a customer-focused professional Employee Relations (ER) service within the People Policy Framework, overseeing and undertaking employee relations casework, including disputes and attendance management.
To support and manage the ER team, ensuring that clear, balanced, and professional advice and guidance are provided in line with policies, and ER support is delivered to services as required.
As part of the RBK Management team and working closely with the ODBPs, this role is responsible for setting service standards, prioritizing work based on risk and available resources. The Senior ER Manager will escalate issues and engage others to balance risk and achieve positive outcomes for employees and services. The role requires regular updates on progress, barriers, recommended mitigations, and urgent actions needed.
The role also involves identifying when external or other support, such as legal or LBS, is necessary to enhance the ER and wider People and OD service provision.
