Job summary

Aspiration Training is offering an adult care apprenticeship to join a caring team. The role involves planning and delivering activities to improve service users' quality of life and assisting with personal care across home, daycare, and residential settings.

You will help with meals, complete service user records in line with legislation, and uphold health and safety standards. The successful candidate will be friendly, proactive, and committed to the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Planning and completing activities with the service users that will enhance their quality of life
• Assisting service users with their personal care needs including getting up in the morning, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and using the toilet
• Helping to prepare meals and drinks
• Completing service user records and paperwork in line with legislation
• Ensuring health and safety is followed at all times and the require standards are met

Job description

As an adult care apprentice you will be a key member of the team. Your daily activities may include:

This apprenticeship is for those individuals who wish to provide frontline care for vulnerable adults within their own homes, daycare centres, residential/nursing homes and other care-based environments. The adult care worker would need to have the right values and behaviours whilst developing competencies and skills which provides high-quality, compassionate care and support.
