Overview

Kinaxis Maestro (Rapid Response) SME

Fantastic opportunity for you to shape the adoption and utilisation of Kinaxis Maestro implementation within a fast paced, successful, global business. Creating a Kinaxis CoE which drives the optimisation and transformation within SC planning.

This isn’t a technology role; you will be the bridge between technology and the wider SC business. You will have deep planning experience, where you have ideally implemented Kinaxis previously, with the ability to apply this experience to ensure that Kinaxis is successfully utilised across the global planning function (supply, demand and inventory with c50 heads).

You will be the Kinaxis SME across the planning function, influencing the adoption and knowledge transfer across the group. Ensuring that the benefits & full functionality of Kinaxis is fully realised.

Working closely with the technology teams to translate the business need into functional requirements, with the strategic vision to create the Kinaxis roadmap which utilises new functionality as this becomes available. With the clarity, vision and enthusiasm to bring people with you on this journey. Driving best practices, supporting business units worldwide, and enabling continuous improvement across the global planning group.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Expertise:

• Serve as the functional subject matter expert for Kinaxis modules (Demand, Supply, Inventory, Control Tower) across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, IT, and business stakeholders to shape the global Kinaxis roadmap and ensure consistency across regions.
• Standardize planning processes, templates, and configurations in alignment with CoE governance.
• Design and configure planning workbooks, measures, alerts, dashboards, and scenarios in Maestro to support business processes.
• Provide guidance on best practices for supply chain planning, leveraging deep knowledge of Maestro capabilities.

Planning Process Support:

• Partner with planning teams to optimize demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and exception management.
• Analyse supply chain data to identify performance gaps, opportunities, and root causes of planning issues.
• Ensure planning processes and system configurations are aligned with business objectives.

Project & Change Enablement:

• Participate in project initiatives related to new functionality, integrations, and process enhancements.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), issue resolution, and production cutovers for system changes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for planning processes, system configurations, and functional specifications.

Training & Adoption:

• Deliver training and mentoring to planners and super users on Kinaxis functionality, planning workflows, and system enhancements.
• Act as the first point of contact for escalations and advanced user support.

Continuous Improvement:

• Collaborate with other members of the Kinaxis CoE, Product Owners, and IT to influence the product roadmap, based on business needs.
• Drive initiatives to improve forecast accuracy, supply plan adherence, and inventory optimization.
• Stay up to date on Kinaxis product releases and new capabilities to recommend relevant enhancements.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning (demand, supply, S&OP, or inventory management).
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Kinaxis Maestro configuration and functional design, ideally having direct implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of ERP data flows (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and how they integrate with Kinaxis.

Technical Skills:

• Ability to design and configure measures, worksheets, dashboards, and what-if scenarios within Maestro.
• Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Power BI/Tableau a plus).

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and facilitation skills with cross-functional teams, with strong influencing & stakeholder management.
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
