Job Description:

"When you love your work and the people you work with, amazing things happen…"

When you love your work and the people you work with, amazing things happen…

Freedom to go beyond, that’s the beauty of L’Oréal.

Are you passionate about people and skincare? Do you love coaching people to achieve results? We are looking for you!

Kiehl’s was established as an apothecary in the East Village of New York. We are customer-focused, rich with skincare expertise rooted in our pharmaceutical heritage, combining the best of nature and science to achieve healthier, younger-looking skin. We offer personalized consultations and expert skincare knowledge, ensuring a bespoke routine of our formulas. Our team embodies our values, bringing our heritage and ethos to life in store with our customers.

You will be passionate about skincare and delivering exceptional service. Even if you don’t have experience managing teams or within the skincare industry, we will provide you with the tools to succeed at Kiehl’s!

You are a people person who loves meeting new people and guiding them on a personal journey to feel amazing. Our teams are adventurous and passionate about developing genuine connections to build trust and loyalty.

Your role includes greeting prospective customers, conducting skin consultations, demonstrating empathy, sharing expertise, and product knowledge that could change lives.

You will lead by example, proactively approaching customers warmly to provide an exceptional experience. Share your knowledge of our skincare formulations and innovations, educating customers on wellbeing and skin health.

You will be self-driven and able to motivate yourself and your team, supporting your Deputy and Store Manager to coach your team, deliver excellent service, and meet retail targets and strategic goals.

You should be comfortable supporting management in store, including inventory tasks.

Possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, you will contribute ideas to strengthen the team and business.

You will participate in our ‘Kiehl’s Gives’ mission supporting local and global charities focusing on the environment, children’s well-being, and LGBTQ+ causes.

Your induction includes regular training with our Education Team, Area Manager, Education Mentor, and peers. You will be equipped with a Learning Journal and modules on Retail Skills and Skin Care. A comprehensive training induction at our head office in Hammersmith, London, will set you up for success.

After training, you will receive your ‘Kiehl’s Wings Pin’ to wear proudly on your lab coat!

You will attend quarterly team trainings on new launches, skin application techniques, and product testing.

We offer many development programs. If interested in progressing into management, leadership modules will prepare you for this next step.

Benefits include:

  • Competitive salary & commission scheme
  • Access to products in the L’Oréal Staff Shop
  • Allowance of free products twice a year
  • Holiday entitlement (including bank holidays)
  • Support for mental health and financial advice
