Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Warehouse & FLT Key Operative at our Bridgwater site. You will be trained to handle a variety of warehouse tasks including receiving goods, stock picking, replenishment, put-away, forklift operation and loading for despatch.

You will work safely under food and health & safety policies, with shifts that include weekends. A requirement is good physical fitness and the ability to work in a busy environment with variable conditions.

• Good level of fitness and stamina.
• Able to work in varying temperatures, noisy or dusty settings.
• Pride in completing tasks to the best of your ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bringing products in and stock handling.
• Pick stock and replenish/put away goods.
• Drive a forklift truck and load stock for despatch.
• Maintain safety in line with food and health & safety policies.

More about the role

As a Warehouse & FLT Key Operative you'll be absolutely critical to the operation! You'll be supported and trained up to do a variety of warehouse tasks, such as bringing products in, picking stock, replenishing and putting away goods, driving a forklift truck and loading stock for despatch.

You'll work safely and carefully, with food and health and safety policies in mind every day, so that our products are looked after and arrive in the best condition at the store ready for our customers.

Please note that:

• All rotas include an element of weekend working
• Having your own transport would be advantageous due to shift times and location of site

You'll be the kind of person who:

• Loves working as part of a team and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
• Is happy in an active role and has a good level of fitness
• Is able to work in an environment with varying temperatures, and which may be noisy or dusty
• Takes pride in completing tasks to the best of your ability
• Has previous experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and understands relevant processes, systems and equipment (desirable)
