Interested candidates must share our motto: 'Love, Learn, Laugh.'

We are looking for a teacher who:

  1. Has two or more years of experience
  2. Is a positive, enthusiastic and creative individual
  3. Is an excellent classroom practitioner and passionate about teaching children with SEND
  4. Strives to provide the highest standard of teaching using appropriate and specific strategies to engage and support pupils with a range of learning needs
  5. Is committed to working in partnership with others, including therapists and families
  6. Has experience and confidence in managing behaviour positively
  7. Is committed to their own continued professional development
  8. Has a sound understanding of child development
  9. Has experience or knowledge of working with children with autism and/or learning difficulties
  10. Has experience of teaching children who have moderate learning difficulties (MLD) in either a mainstream or SEND setting

We offer:

  1. Supportive colleagues and a caring working environment
  2. A comprehensive induction and mentoring programme
  3. Outstanding in-service training and opportunities to develop professionally in a thriving and growing school
  4. A generous PPA allocation
  5. Well-resourced vibrant classrooms and skilled support staff
  6. Dedicated support from in house therapists and other specialists
  7. An innovative approach to staff well-being that supports a healthy work/life balance
  8. Support from a passionate, approachable, empathetic and ambitious senior leadership team

We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. You will have a safeguarding responsibility if appointed. The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references. This post is not exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
