Your new school

An opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Teacher to work within a medium-sized Primary School in Cardiff.

The school has a happy and enthusiastic atmosphere, with staff working together to create a supportive and inspiring environment. If successful, you will be working alongside a great Senior Leadership Team as well as supportive Teachers and Teaching Assistants. You will be part of a team that aims to nurture good relationships between home and school.

Your new role

This role is confirmed long-term, teaching a Key Stage 2 class. You will be responsible for full-time teaching duties, including lesson preparation, providing high-quality teaching experiences to help pupils achieve their best and develop confidence in their learning journey. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Create lesson plans.
• Maintain a safe, interactive, and engaging learning environment.
• Set homework or exercises for pupils to practice after school hours.
• Demonstrate tasks, assign activities, and encourage discussions.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified teacher with valid QTS.
• Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
• A commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of pupils.
• Up-to-date EWC registration.
• A passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment for children to succeed.
