Job description

Key Stage 2 Teacher (Fixed term until July 2026)

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications

Working pattern: 2 days per week

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher to join our friendly and motivated staff. The post will be a job-share, part-time position in Key Stage 2 required to start September 2025 and is a fixed term position.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional who is committed to enthusing children, has high expectations, is adaptable, a good team player, has ambition to raise standards and who wishes to play an active part in school life.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to Key Stage 2 students.
  2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the national curriculum standards.
  3. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  4. Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
  6. Maintain strong behaviour management to ensure a conducive learning environment.
Requirements:
  1. Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  2. Recent experience teaching Key Stage 2 with excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
  3. Strong academic background, including GCSEs, A Levels, and a Degree.
  4. Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
