Key Stage 2 Teacher

Location: Birmingham
Position: Full-time, ongoing
Salary: £160 – £240 per day

An inclusive and welcoming primary school in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, ongoing basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging and well-planned lessons that inspire pupils and help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Foster a positive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and positively
• Track and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and coordinate across the year group
• Contribute to the wider school community and school events

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Have recent experience teaching in a Key Stage 2 classroom
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Be passionate about teaching and dedicated to pupil progress and well-being
• Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
• Have a positive, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching

Requirements:

• QTS qualification
• Recent, relevant teaching experience in KS2
• Level 1 safeguarding certificate
• Recent school-based references
• Valid Photo ID (Driving Licence or Passport)
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
