KS2 Teacher

Longthorpe

£140 - £180 a day

Randstad is seeking a dedicated and adaptable KS2 Teacher to provide essential PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) cover at our schools in Longthorpe. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your main responsibility will be to deliver engaging lessons that keep students on track with their learning. No planning or meetings are required, allowing you to focus fully on effective teaching.

Responsibilities to become a successful KS2 Teacher will be:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experienced with KS2 teaching and children
• An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK essential (sponsorship is not available with this role)
• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
• Relevant professional teaching references
• Being passionate about teaching and learning
• Tailoring your approach to the individual needs of children where necessary

These are some of the requirements that we need from you:

• Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2) curriculum
• 2 recent professional references
• Experience with behaviours that are challenging
• A calm & caring personality
• A strong and resilient personality and be committed to pupils development
• Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
