Job summary

Academics is seeking a KS2 Teacher for a Brentwood primary school from September 2026. The role is a 1-year fixed term with the possibility of becoming permanent, and you will deliver high-quality lessons across KS2 while supporting pupil development and behaviour.

You will hold QTS, will have strong KS2 knowledge, and be able to adapt instruction to diverse learners. Collaboration with staff and ongoing professional development are encouraged.

Qualifications

Location: Brentwood, Essex
Contract: Full Time 1 Year Fixed Term
Start Date: September 2026
Pay: M3 - M6 daily rate
Potential: Permanent opportunity available

An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a reputable and high-achieving primary school from September 2026.

The Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum
  • Set high expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour and personal development
  • Adapt teaching to support and challenge learners of different abilities
  • Monitor progress and use assessment to inform future planning
  • Build strong and positive relationships with pupils and families
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice
  • Contribute enthusiastically to the wider life of the school
