Job summary

Teach Now Limited is supporting a forward-thinking primary school in Barking and Dagenham with the appointment of a committed Key Stage 2 Teacher. You will teach a KS2 class, plan with year-group colleagues and use assessment carefully to help every pupil make progress.

This is a full-time position beginning in September and would suit either an experienced teacher or a confident ECT with strong upper- or lower-KS2 experience.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status is required.
  • Recent KS2 teaching experience is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum is expected.
  • Effective literacy and mathematics teaching skills.
  • Proven assessment and behaviour-management practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Job description

Position: Key Stage 2 Teacher Contract Type: Full-time, long-term temporary Start Date: 8 September 2026 Location: Barking and Dagenham, London, UK Salary: £37,870–£56,154 per annum Salary will be based on experience and the appropriate point on the Outer London Main Pay Range.
