GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Brentwood. This long-term role begins in September and offers the opportunity to teach a vibrant KS2 class in an inclusive and well-resourced learning environment.
This role is ideal for a passionate educator who enjoys encouraging independent thinking, delivering engaging lessons, and making a lasting impact on young learners’ development.
Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stage 2
Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support continued learning
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment for all pupils
Participate in staff meetings, planning, and CPD opportunities as required
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A positive, proactive, and reflective approach to teaching
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
