Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated KS2 lessons.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum

• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes high expectations, independence and academic achievement

• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs

• Deliver high-quality teaching in English, Mathematics and the wider primary curriculum, ensuring pupils develop strong foundational knowledge and skills

• Support pupils with varying abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and English as an Additional Language (EAL)

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders to maintain high standards of teaching, behaviour and pupil wellbeing

Qualifications/Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification

• Experience as a Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher or in a similar role, with applications welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs)

• Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role

• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

• Right to work in the UK
