Primary Teacher - Full-Time (KS2)

Location: South East London - Southwark
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time (5 days per week), initially one term - likely to extend

We are currently seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join a specialist setting from September 2025. This role is full-time and will likely extend beyond one term if the school does not appoint permanently during that time.



Key Details:

  • Full-time role, 5 days per week

  • Start date: September 2025

  • Minimum commitment: One term (potential for extension)

  • Class Teacher role with full planning, pastoral, and care responsibilities

  • Key Stage 2 (primary-aged learners)

  • Class size of approximately 9 pupils, supported by two experienced TAs

  • Pupils present with a range of SEN needs, including autism



Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential

  • No ECTs - Applicants must have proven primary teaching experience in UK schools

  • SEN experience is preferred, though not essential if the candidate shows a genuine interest in special education

  • Must have native-level English or near-native fluency (due to the nature of pupils' communication needs)

  • Must be confident in planning and delivering lessons independently

  • PPA time will be provided

  • Applicants from secondary backgrounds will not be considered
