Job summary

Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a KS2 Primary Teacher for a friendly Camden (NW1) primary school. The role is full-time, temporary, starting September 2026 and running to July 2027, with a view to extension or permanent placement depending on performance.

The school is supportive with a strong leadership team, and the candidate must hold QTS, have UK teaching experience, and up-to-date safeguarding training.

KS2 Primary Teacher

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Primary Teacher for a Primary school in Camden, NW1.

The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.

The position is open to both NQT's and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalentMinimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
