We are seeking a dedicated and professional Key Stage 1 Supply Teacher to join our school community. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an educator who values flexibility while maintaining a strong commitment to delivering high-quality primary education across Year 1 and Year 2.

As a key member of our supply team, you will ensure continuity of learning within early primary classrooms, fostering a structured, positive, and supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include delivering engaging lessons, supporting core literacy and numeracy development, and maintaining effective classroom management during these critical foundational years.

This role is well-suited to experienced teachers seeking operational freedom, as well as Early Career Teachers looking to gain varied experience across Key Stage 1 settings. If you possess a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum, excellent classroom management, and a dedicated approach to primary education, we welcome your application.

Key Highlights of the Role:
  • Professional Flexibility: Maintain an adaptable working schedule tailored to your availability, supporting a positive work-life balance.
  • Focus on Delivery: Apply your expertise directly to classroom engagement and pupil progress, without the demand of long-term planning and administrative burdens.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a supportive staff body that values supply teachers as integral members of the school team.
Benefits of working as a Supply Teacher with Randstad:
  • £160 - £232 per day (depending on job role, expectations, qualifications and experience)
  • A 'refer-a-friend' scheme where you could have a chance of earning £300 per friend referred!
  • Gaining further experience and knowledge
  • Flexible working - you have control over your working week!
  • Opportunities for career progression, long term work and possible permanent employment
Your responsibilities as a Supply Teacher will include:
  • Maintaining records of progress within the classroom
  • Safeguarding all children

  • Supporting and liaising with Teaching Assistants in your class
Requirements of the job role:
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
