Job summary

A leading education supply agency in South Tyneside seeks a dedicated Year 1/2 Teacher for a full-time, temporary position covering maternity leave. The candidate will plan and teach in line with the KS1 curriculum, creating engaging lessons to inspire learning. Prior experience in Key Stage 1 is preferred. £600 - £1190 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated Year 1/2 Teacher to cover maternity leave at a supportive primary school in South Tyneside. This full-time role includes planning, teaching, and assessing in line with the KS1 curriculum, while creating engaging and creative lessons that inspire learning. The successful candidate will encourage independence, nurture confidence, and help pupils achieve their potential. Prior experience in Key Stage 1 is preferred.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have;

  • Experience of working with primary school aged children.
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.
