Job summary

Lavender Lodge School, part of the Witherslack Group, seeks a dedicated KS1 Teacher for a specialist SEND setting in Mitcham. You will deliver the KS1 curriculum to pupils with autism and related needs, supporting their learning and personal development.

Applicants should have Qualified Teacher Status and prior teaching experience. The role offers a supportive team, well-resourced classrooms and a commitment to inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status is required.
• Experience teaching in KS1 within SEND settings is preferred.
• Ability to engage with pupils with autism, SEMH, ADHD and related needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver KS1 curriculum to pupils with SEND.
• Support pupils to develop self-esteem and learning abilities.

Having joined the Witherslack Group family in 2022, Lavender Lodge School is an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education, based in South London. The school meets the needs of pupils with a primary diagnosis of autism and additional needs such as ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory issues and associated behavioural difficulties.
