Job summary

Myton Food Group, part of Morrisons Supermarkets, is seeking a Manufacturing Key Operative - Hygiene to deep clean and assemble machinery across production lines. You will follow GMP, COSHH and safety standards to keep equipment production-ready in a chilled environment.

You will dismantle, clean, rebuild, and calibrate machines, ensuring efficient, safe operation. A collaborative team player with flexibility to adapt to varying temps and duties is essential.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 2 (not essential)
• Able to work in production environment with temperatures around 8°C or below
• Follow Health and Safety and Food Safety standards
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure

Job description

As Manufacturing Key Operative - Hygiene at one of our manufacturing sites, you’ll work within our Production team to deep clean the machines, allowing us to produce quality products in a safe, efficient and hygienic environment.

You’ll use trained skills to physically dismantle, clean and re-build machines on multiple production lines, as well as conducting system set up and calibrations. You’ll follow good manufacturing practices and will help to make sure that machines are production ready, as well as managing chemicals in accordance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) training.

About You

You’ll be the kind of person who:

• Enjoys working in a fast paced environment and within a team
• Is open to working in a production environment with varying temperatures of approximately 8 degrees and below
• Is able to follow relevant business and site policies such as Health and Safety and Food Safety standards
• Is flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure
• Has Food Safety Level 2 (not essential)
