Job Description:
The principal function of this role is to take responsibility for the growth of existing customers and converting opportunities generated by the sales team.
The re-contracting process for group series occurs both seasonally and annually with new and existing customers. With your existing knowledge of the client’s products, you will have clear development plans for the following season and expand our penetration within your source market.
You will develop relationships and become the principal point of contact for several of our existing and prospective clients.
In addition, this role takes total responsibility for qualifying, quoting, and converting ad-hoc groups.

Key Responsibilities:
- Be up to date with planning cycles and provide the right products and prices within client deadlines.
- Become familiar with the markets for which you are responsible: competitors, expectations, operations, etc.
- Focus on growing existing clients and reaching out to new prospects.
- Meet key targets including quote turnaround times, enquiry conversion rates, and sales calls.
- Qualify all new enquiries and follow-up promptly.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager for smooth handover of business.
- Follow proper quoting procedures and hotel promotion strategies.
- Maintain commercial awareness to protect margins and maximize returns.
- Monitor performance against targets.
- Adhere to pricing policies.
- Provide necessary brochures and images when required.
- Visit clients abroad as needed.
- Organize and accompany clients on FAM and inspection trips.
- Create special offers for existing and potential customers.
- Support product development and stay updated on new offerings.
Essential Qualifications & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet use.
- Excellent customer service and results orientation.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Negotiation experience.
- Hospitality or Tourism industry experience.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Proficiency in a second European language.
Desirable Qualifications & Knowledge:
- Tour operator experience.
- Experience quoting for group tours in Europe.
