Job Description
- Manage and nurture relationships with key retail clients to achieve sales targets.
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and develop strategies to capitalise on them.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
- Analyse market trends and client needs to tailor solutions that align with business goals.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and account reviews to key stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profitability and secure long-term partnerships.
- Track and report on account performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company and build networks.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Key Account Manager should have:
- Proven experience in account management or sales within the retail industry.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret market data effectively.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to achieving targets.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales performance reporting.
- A valid driving licence to support client visits and travel requirements.
