A biotechnology company is seeking a Key Account Manager to develop and implement strategies aimed at enhancing access to their biosimilars portfolio in the UK. The role requires building strong relationships with commissioning and clinical stakeholders to drive sales and optimize pathways within the NHS. Applicants should have a strong background in Rheumatology and proven experience in pharmaceutical sales. This position allows for significant autonomy and requires excellent communication skills.
Joining us as Key Account Manager, your role is central to ensuring we continue to deliver on our company ambition of expanding access for patients across our biosimilars portfolio. This role has full accountability for the development and implementation of a local business plan which aligns to our national strategy and delivers commercial results through appropriate prioritisation and deployment of company resources. In order to succeed as Key Account Manager, you will build productive relationships with local commissioning and clinical customers to identify opportunities where our biosimilar portfolio and value services can support delivery within the local health economy.
Candidates are required to live within the stated territory for this role (for South London, this refers to anywhere south of the river).
You are a commercially astute and highly motivated account manager with a deep understanding of the NHS landscape and a proven ability to drive meaningful health system change. You thrive in building strong, collaborative relationships with both commissioning and clinical stakeholders, and you’re passionate about improving patient access through innovative solutions. With a strong track record in pharmaceutical sales, you bring a strategic mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and a data-driven approach to delivering results in a complex and evolving environment.
