Sector: Building Materials / Construction Supplies

Package: Circa 40K (negotiable) + Bonus + Car + Mon - Fri only

This highly successful, independent company is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Account Manager / Sales Professional to join their busy sales team. To avoid disappointment, it should be stressed that you must have experience of dealing with building materials in relation to the Public Sector / Housing Associations.

With a network of branches our client supplies a range of building products to the construction sector, the trade and the retail sector. Their department that deals with the Public Sector and Housing Associations is doing well and they would very like to build upon their current position in the market, hence the requirement for this role.

This position requires someone who is really confident talking to people, understanding their needs and acting on this to provide sterling service to the customer. Attention to detail is also key. Quoting on large projects will be a key part of this role and at times you will deal with some high-end decision makers so you should be confident in that respect. You will also be dealing with suppliers when large volumes of items are required that may not be normally stocked.

This is an interesting and varied role with a great scope for generating new business as well as keeping their existing ones happy.

The sales experience required for this role could be based on a previous internal or external role.
