We are seeking a results-driven professional with proven account management and launch experience to join our Severe Asthma team as a Key Account Manager. The role is to ensure our product is the preferred severe asthma treatment and to improve access to biologics through local and regional patient pathways. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in dynamic environments and have experience launching innovative therapies in specialized disease areas. Responsibilities
  • Influence prescribing decisions at key sites, driving uptake of our product at individual and local/regional population levels.
  • Build trust and relationships with stakeholders across NHS tiers, using insights to create and execute robust account plans.
  • Utilise launch expertise to develop strategies that maximise product introduction impact and ensure swift adoption in priority accounts.
  • Communicate clinical data effectively, highlighting patient and NHS system benefits, and mobilise External Expert endorsement to broaden advocacy.
  • Engage with ICB/payor and care stakeholders to map service pathways, identify barriers to biologics treatment, and deliver tailored solutions to improve patient access.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver account objectives, prioritise resources using data and insight, and demonstrate measurable progress against KPIs in line with GSK policy.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical account management, sales, or a related field.
  • Current ABPI certification.
  • NHS knowledge and experience in a specialised disease area (specialised respiratory and/or biologics) or relevant alternative therapeutic areas.
  • Proven ability to work across boundaries with highly specialised external experts, relevant payors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to present complex concepts clearly; strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and assimilate data.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience in product launches, including planning, execution, and monitoring launch metrics.
  • Experience of working in this geography previously.
