Job summary

A renowned distributor of catering equipment seeks a Key Account Manager to enhance sales in the Southeast and Southwest London area. The ideal candidate will have strong B2B sales experience, particularly in Hospitality, and a proven track record of meeting OTE targets. This is a fully remote position with the opportunity to earn a competitive package that includes a base salary of £45k-£50k plus £15k OTE, totaling £65k.

About the Role

Catering equipment is a fundamental service that Hospitality, Catering, Events, Healthcare and many other sectors need! Think about it, they would need Clothing, PPE, Cutlery, Appliances, Tableware, Table Services, Furniture, and Commercial Kitchen Equipment plus Cleaning… Imagine a one stop shop that would offer many of these services, the variety for a Key Account Manager to sell - this is what we are after! Could this be you? We are working with an amazing and globally recognised brand who are distributors for these services!

Territory & Locations

SOUTHEAST – SOUTHWEST LONDON – Fully Remote. Most of the patch will be South and West London – you should be near that patch! Kent and Brighton have hardly any work.

Responsibilities
  • New Business Hunter – upsell and cross‑sell. Ideally you have sold into Hotels, NHS, Universities, independent hotels, Restaurant chains or care homes. Strong B2B Salesperson in general.
  • Sell to the exiting portfolio, but products that have not used you – ask about PPE, clothing, cleaning…
  • Inquisitive salespeople to open a client up and ask good questions, strategically building a rapport.
  • Build around 12 appointments a week – touch points, booked meetings ahead of time.
  • Company car or car allowance.
  • Great training and a real collaborative approach.
  • Track record of success; someone successful now and want to move into a bigger more complex role with an array and variety of products and services.
  • Must know your OTE – how much you have earned and what you want to achieve.
  • Salary is £45k-£50k + £15k OTE capped – package of £65k.
Qualifications
  • Have sold into Hospitality before.
  • Strong B2B Sales experience.
  • Successful track record and OTE targets.
  • Excellent rapport building and probing skills.
