Job description

Are you a commercially minded go-getter with a strong background in construction, building products or HVAC? Do you thrive on building long-term relationships with major clients and want to play a key role in helping top UK brands reduce their carbon footprint?

Join Swegon, a European market leader in indoor climate solutions, as a Heat Pump Sales Specialist, focused on driving decarbonisation through cutting-edge technology.

Position Summary

This is more than a sales role – it's an opportunity to be a strategic partner to some of the UK’s top supermarket, retail, and hospitality brands. Working closely with clients like Tesco, you’ll lead the journey from traditional heating systems to future-proof, energy-efficient solutions. You’ll have the chance to manage high-profile relationships, influence large-scale building projects, and be rewarded with quarterly incentives worth up to 20% of your salary annually.

If you’re a driven, commercially savvy relationship-builder with experience in HVAC, construction, or building products—and you're excited to be at the forefront of sustainability in buildings—we want to hear from you.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
  • Strategic Account Development: Identify and develop key accounts across sectors such as supermarkets, retail groups, hotels, and property development firms.
  • Build trusted relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders in large end-user organizations.
  • Create tailored decarbonization strategies using Swegon’s innovative product portfolio.
  • Develop customer account dashboards and manage relationships from concept to commissioning and optimization.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Act as a vital link between the customer and our internal technical, sales, and product teams.
  • Work alongside our technical sales team in a team-selling environment to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain CRM activity (Microsoft Dynamics) and ensure seamless knowledge sharing across departments.
  • Performance and Reporting: Take ownership of key accounts’ sales performance, margins, and growth potential.
  • Deliver regular forecasts and performance updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to expand the account through cross-functional collaboration.
About You

You're a natural relationship-builder, commercially astute, and driven by long-term partnerships rather than quick wins. You’re excited by the idea of working directly with high-profile clients to support decarbonisation and energy efficiency goals, and you bring a strong network within the built environment sector.

You understand the dynamics of large organisations and know how to navigate complex buying processes with procurement teams and senior stakeholders. You’re collaborative, proactive, and ready to represent a brand that stands for innovation, quality, and sustainability.
