Are you experienced in electrical wholesale sales and eager to develop key accounts and generate new sales? Join our successful Electrical & Renewables team and contribute to the transition to sustainable heating.

This role involves developing revenue through new opportunities, strengthening existing relationships, and executing sales strategies aligned with company goals. You will be instrumental at a pivotal growth phase within the Electrical sector.

The Role:

As a Key Account Manager, you will expand our customer base, increase sales, and improve profitability across the UK, focusing on electrical products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive Sales and Profitability: Lead sales efforts, develop accounts, and manage margins according to the Annual Operating Plan.
  2. Leverage Market Intelligence: Use industry insights to identify growth opportunities and influence branch operations.
  3. Build Customer Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships and identify opportunities within existing and new clients.
  4. Enhance Branch Engagement: Collaborate with branches to promote electrical category awareness and support sales initiatives.
  5. Monitor Market Trends: Stay updated on electrical market trends and provide feedback for product development.
  6. Attend Solar Meetings: Participate in monthly meetings to support electrical market growth and lead initiatives.
  7. Manage Personal Development: Continuously assess and improve your performance, seeking feedback regularly.
  8. Oversee Customer Orders: Ensure seamless customer experience from inquiry to delivery.

This role requires regional travel to meet with customers and suppliers. Candidates should be based in the UK, with opportunities across London, Midlands, North, Scotland, South East, and West.

  • Experience in Merchant/Electrical/Wholesale sales

  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
