CloserStill Media is seeking a Key Account Manager for its healthcare division, focusing on managing key pharmaceutical accounts. The role involves developing strategic plans, building client relationships, and leading sales initiatives. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
CloserStill Media is looking for a commercially driven, passionate Key Account Manager to join our high-growth healthcare division. If you’ve got deep knowledge of the UK pharmaceutical space and a consultative sales style, this is your chance to work with major pharma clients across market-leading healthcare events.
THE ROLE:
You’ll be responsible for managing and growing key pharmaceutical accounts, positioning our events as go-to platforms for brand engagement, thought leadership, and strategic influence.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Develop strategic account plans for major pharma companies
Build trusted client relationships across marketing, medical affairs, and commercial teams
Lead sales meetings, pitches, and negotiations
Collaborate with content and marketing teams to align client goals with event strategy
Stay up-to-date with ABPI code, NHS structures, and pharma policy trends
Attend and support delivery of UK-based healthcare events
ABOUT YOU:
We’re looking for someone who’s smart, strategic, and knows how to drive results while building meaningful client relationships.
You’ll need:
5–7+ years of B2B sales experience (sponsorship, media, events, or agency side)
Proven track record working with pharmaceutical/life sciences clients
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
A consultative sales approach and ability to build senior relationships
Familiarity with NHS buyer behaviour and compliance (ABPI)
A proactive, collaborative, and target-driven mindset
Bonus if you have:
An existing network in pharma marketing, medical affairs, or comms
Experience in event/media sales within the healthcare space
