The Role:

The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Digital Transformation drives growth by understanding partners' needs, offering tailored digital solutions, and guiding them through implementation, while staying updated on industry trends to provide cutting-edge solutions that meet their unique challenges and goals.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with potential clients to understand their digital transformation needs.
  • Conceptualize the needs and present and demonstrate how Axis offering can provide solutions including cloud computing, AI, data analytics, and automation tools.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, from initial contact to post-sale support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to craft customized digital transformation strategies for clients.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to offer the most relevant solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiating and closing deals.

YOUR FUTURE TEAM

You will be reporting to Simon Emmons, Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland. As of today, Simon has a team of open, driven, and strong salespeople in different roles. You will work with the whole sales organization. including Territory sales Managers, Key Account Managers, Sales Engineers and Technical Trainers. In addition to sales, you will also work closely with marketing - always ensuring that partners in our region are getting the right attention and are properly covered.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Axis is looking for a self-driven and energetic team player, with a strong background in B2B sales, preferably in digital transformation, cloud, or software solutions. You should possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, be self-motivated, and can convey complex technologies simply. Additionally, you should demonstrate business acumen, strategic thinking, and adaptability, with experience in Salesforce being a plus.

Ideally, this role would be based in central UK or close to our Luton Office. Hybrid working is to be expected either in the field with customers, home office, along with attendance at Luton 1-2 days a week.

Apart from this, we’d love to see that you have/are:

  • Experience in a software solutions sales role (SAAS VSAAS) across a wide range of industries.
  • Experience of two stage selling via a distributor/reseller is helpful.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • A great communicator with high interpersonal skills
  • A proactive individual who possesses the ability to prioritize and create efficiency.
  • Being open for weekly travels within the UK region, and limited travel to the HQ in Lund, Sweden.
  • Experience in the Security Industry
