Key Account Manager – Commercial Vehicle OEM Trade Parts

Strengthening our UK sales team:

Delivering and developing C-class Garage Workshop Consumables programmes to vertical markets expanding across the Automotive Aftermarket, Engineering Supplies, and Industrial Distributor sectors. Our client has extensive experience enabling MRO Workshops to efficiently manage their workshop consumable usage. We are seeking a Key Account Manager, National Account Manager, or Senior Sales Executive to develop their Commercial Vehicle sector via CV OEMs and Trade Parts programmes.

Ideal Location – UK Wide / Central UK preferred

Our ideal candidate:
  • Has experience in the Automotive Aftermarket at a Senior Sales / Key Account / National Account level, familiar with parts distribution and supply into the Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket, especially all makes Trade Parts programmes. Understanding Commercial Vehicle Workshops and the inbound supply chain is vital.
  • Has worked within the Automotive Aftermarket in a senior field-based or highly sales-driven environment.
  • Has experience handling OEMs at HQ level, ideally Commercial Vehicle Manufacturers.
  • Has a proven track record of delivering sales in a field-based capacity.
  • Possesses gravitas and the ability to present innovative ideas and solutions at board level.
  • Is highly IT literate, especially in presentation tools and Excel for analysis.
  • Has clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Maintains a professional outlook, integrity, and strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Is highly organized with a strong work ethic and tenacity.
  • Is flexible to travel across a broad region, including overnight stays.
  • Maintains a smart appearance, punctuality, and can create excellent first impressions.
